In 1956 it cost about $53 and about $75 with the motor added. The stand this one sits on has no markings except for Patent numbers on the pieces. Recently I tried to fine tune the wheels (it has three), belt guides (ball beearings) and belt tention in hopes of getting smoother cuts and less noise. I'm not happy with either at this point and am looking for advise from someone that is familiar with it. Maybe I'm expecting more that it can deliver - I am comparing it to one that we have at work used to cut metal.
